Greenhouse grower and farmer, Jacques van der Lelij, and his family, moved to Willcox, Arizona from The Netherlands in 1994. Attracted by ample space, climate, and growing conditions, Jacques constructed a 7.5 acre, climate-controlled greenhouse, which provides 4 to 8 million potted plants per year.
The greenhouse is heated with geothermal energy, a reliable source of energy harvested from the earth. This source of energy, coupled with the drive to reduce our carbon footprint, creates a unique growing habitat that yields a more rich, and healthy harvest.
BestFresh Farms produces crops ranging from potted herbs and vegetables, to over 500 acres of outdoor crops such as surghum, corn, and chilies.
